Michael, unfortunately, is married to Louise - and intends to stay that way. 
Meanwhile Izzy has to contend with the assorted delights and terrors of 4C
 (that would have to be her class!), 
put up with being adored by Dick (the pottery teacher), and somehow cope 
with the maniacal, larger-than-life attentions of Hywel and Gwyn, two sex-mad Welshmen 
who force their way into her life and affections, in spite of their very obvious faults.  

Up the Garden Path was a 1984 novel by Sue Limb which was then adapted into a radio series by BBC Radio 4 
and later into a television sitcom by Granada TV.
The radio series is regularly repeated on BBC 7.
