Comedy Showcase - A Cinema Near You 
******written by Simon Nye and stars Caroline Quentin and Mathew Horne.

Mathew plays Alex, a cinema manager, who's struggling to drum up excitement for a new Swedish art-house film. 
Unfortunately neither the public nor the staff seem to be the slightest bit interested. On top of that, Alex has to 
contend with the drunken ramblings of the cinema's elderly owner, Mrs Duke (Caroline Quentin) and the amorous 
advances of Jane (Mel Hudson), a former arsonist who owns the cafe next door.

Also starring Phil Cornwell, Antonia Campbell-Hughes, Michael Shelford and Keely Beresford.

******The Consultants are a comedy sketch team who first reached public prominence in August 2002 
where they won the Perrier Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The team, consisting of Neil Edmond, Justin Edwards and James Rawlings, have since recorded three 
series of comedy shows, also named The Consultants, on BBC Radio 4, featuring an eclectic mix 
of songs, puns and sketches.
